Personal Injury Protection (PIP) – Personal Injury Protection is only available in Kansas, Minnesota, North Dakota, Oregon and Utah. PIP insurance pays reasonable and necessary medical expenses if you are injured in an auto accident. It will also pay for things such as loss of wages, child care expenses as well as funeral expenses.

Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist - Uninsured and underinsured motorist insurance will pay for damages and injury if you are in an accident where the other motorist is not know (hit and run), if the other motorist does not have adequate insurance to cover your damages and medical expenses or if you are hit as a pedestrian.

Company’s Teen Drivers Program
American Family Auto Insurance, in conjunction with DriveCam Inc, offers this program at no cost to its policy holders who have a teenage driver. This is a program that helps young drivers learn to overcome the challenges of learning to drive. This program offers the same solutions that are applied to commercial driving fleets.
A camera is installed in the vehicle that will record such things as swerving, hard breaking, and sudden acceleration and send the video back to the analysis center where it is examined. Coaching comments are added and each risky driving event is assigned a score. Parents and teens receive a weekly email update and are able to log on to a personal website to view the videos.
